Village Nominating Committee

Erin Ankin,  I serve on the Glencoe Junior High Project Board and enjoy giving back to our amazing community. Until September 2023, I was managing partner and general counsel at Waterton, where I served on the firm’s Management and Investment Committees. Before Waterton, I was a real estate and finance associate at Levenfeld Pearlstein. I hold a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Michigan and a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law. I am a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Urban Land Institute and serve on the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Next Generation Board.

Jesse Goldman,  I am proud to call Glencoe home, together with my wife, Lauren, our two children and two long-haired dachshunds. I have been in technology since the dot-com bubble, mostly supporting the growth of disruptive early-stage organizations. At Harvard, I pursued a Mind, Brain & Behavior track and remain keenly interested in the dynamics of exceptional teams. I played competitive baseball and have enjoyed being an assistant coach with the Glencoe Baseball Association. I have experienced first-hand how village services positively benefit our community and am excited to deepen my commitment to Glencoe by serving on the Village Nominating Committee.

Priscilla C. Sperling,  After graduating from the University of Chicago Law School, I became a commercial real estate lawyer and partner at Mayer Brown. My husband and I moved to Glencoe in 1980 and have lived here ever since. Our three children graduated from the Glencoe Park District Preschool, the Glencoe schools and New Trier High School. While they were in school here, I was active in school matters supporting the French language program and serving on the New Trier High School Caucus. After they left, I started playing my flute again and volunteering at Equestrian Connection, an equine therapy barn.

Michael Teplitsky,  My wife Isabelle, our three children (Jordyn, Sydney, and Parker), and I are proud to call Glencoe home. I grew up in Chicago, attended high school in Wilmette, and pursued my college education in Evanston. Our family actively engages in Glencoe’s community, attending family skate nights at Watts and biking in Skokie Lagoons. We also organize and host fundraising events to support civic causes. Our favorite local spots include Guildhall and Hometown Coffee. Additionally, our children attend religious school at Am Shalom. Professionally, I am a partner at a private equity investment firm.

School Board Nominating Committee

Myles X. Mendoza, I’ve devoted my life to building opportunities for children via public policy and philanthropy, developing $450M in scholarships for over 50,000 students in Denver and Illinois. I worked as an executive leading Democrats for Education Reform’s national expansion. My background includes social work at Chicago’s Lurie’s and Denver’s Children’s Hospitals, along with governance roles at the AIDS Coalition for Education, STRIVE Preparatory Schools, Rocky Mountain Prep, Governor Bruce Rauner’s education team, and the Laboratory for Art and Ideas. Presently, I volunteer with AEI, aid addiction recovery at Haymarket Center, and guest lecture at Northwestern’s Kellogg School.
