Village Nominating Committee

Saree Boroditsky,  Our family cherishes the sense of community in Glencoe and considers ourselves fortunate to call it home. Our two young children relish playing at the numerous parks, particularly when we pair Friend’s Park with lunch at Hometown. We prioritize ensuring our children thrive in a secure environment and emphasize the importance of our Glencoe board making this a top priority in their decisions. Professionally, I have dedicated almost twenty years to finance, currently serving as a senior vice president in equity research.

Ira Chaplik,  My background is in law, accounting, real estate and corporate investments. I moved to Glencoe in 2021. Previously, 5 years as a member and Chairman of the Highland Park Zoning Board of Appeals. Additionally, I was a member of HP school board sub-committees tasked to analyzing and recommending plans for redevelopment and reconfiguration of school districts. I’ve also been a member of several corporate boards of directors, focusing on strategic direction, staffing, investment analysis and capital markets. I would like to contribute my experience and energy for the benefit of the Village of Glencoe.

Jessica Gatto,  Jessie and her husband have lived in Glencoe since 2015 and have three young children, who you’ll often find playing in the yard with neighbors. Jessie is grateful to raise her kids in a unique community with a wonderful park district, a walkable downtown, Glencoe Golf Club, and friendly neighbors. Jessie is excited about the opportunity to help Glencoe continue to grow and respond to changes in our environment and social context. Currently a leader of Humana’s design team, she brings 20 years of experience in research, problem framing, and design of new, user friendly tools and programs.

School Board Nominating Committee

Rob Bailey, I am married to Leah Bailey and we have raised two daughters who attended Glencoe and New Trier schools. Before becoming an at home dad, I was the VP of Sales with RR Donnelly in the southwest region. I coached with AYSO, 18 teams over 9 years. Team members were from Glencoe, Winnetka, and Wilmette. I served three consecutive terms on the Glencoe Board of Education and served two years as president. I also served three terms on the Board of the North Shore Special Education District (NSSED).

Ilya Boroditsky, My wife, two children, and I feel fortunate to live within the New Trier School district. Our family places significant emphasis on the educational system. I am committed to maintaining New Trier’s reputation as a top institution in preparing our students for higher education and the global stage. Professionally, I am a Portfolio Manager at an investment firm. I graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Jonathan Fox,  My most important jobs are husband and father to my two sons, one of whom has special needs.  Apart from the reputation of the schools, one of the biggest reasons we moved to Glencoe was the small-town charm and tight-knit community.  I am committed to ensuring that all of our children receive a top-tier education while recognizing the critical role that parents play in determining what is best for their families.  For a living I manage an investment fund and have also served as a Cook County election judge here in Glencoe.

Seth Jackier,  Originally from Detroit, I moved to Chicago in 1995. I’ve been an Institutional Fixed Income professional for 29 years. My wife Corey & I made Glencoe our home in 2007. We love raising our family here. A strong education is a core value of mine (as my kids may yawn to hear for the 1000th time). In caucus, my primary goal would be to ensure that the traditional educational values we all grew up on – Facts/History/Socratic Method – are re-energized & prioritized over an educator’s particular viewpoint or narrative. It would be my honor to do this work for our community.

Jonathan Wolfe,  I’m a 14-year resident of Glencoe. I have one child at West School, another at Central and one at New Trier. We are involved in local athletic programs. My wife is a teacher at Reach Yoga. I run a real estate and investment company.
