Village Nominating Committee

Allison Northup: My name is Allison, and my husband Brian I have been Glencoe residents for 5 years. We have two children currently attending Children's Circle Preschool at the Takiff Center. I am looking to give back to my community by serving on the Glencoe Caucus, and helping support the Village by volunteering my time and energy. My career background spans roughly 15 years in the financial services industry. I am eager to bring some of my background experience to help the Village continue to be a great place to live.

Mark Peters: 40 year married resident who has happily raised 2 children in our community.
I have served on the caucus in the late 90’s and as an ad hoc member during the last election cycle. I am past board member of Glencoe Youth Services serving in the 2000’s.
I have always considered it a privilege to serve and represent the community when asked.

Mark Weston: Retired management consultant having worked in industries that include technology, science, and entertainment.

School Board Nominating Committee

Jackie Kaminsky: Jackie is an experienced educator, school leader, and Glencoe parent with a deep commitment to student learning and strong schools. She holds master’s degrees in education and school administration and has worked across public, private, and charter schools. As a teacher and leader, she drove strong literacy outcomes and led curriculum, coaching, and performance initiatives supporting over 100 staff and 1,000 students. She now works with schools nationwide to improve literacy outcomes. As a parent of three children soon to be in Glencoe public schools, Jackie brings both professional expertise and a personal investment in ensuring excellent outcomes for all students.

Eleanore A. Cronin: Eleanore has called Glencoe "home" for most of her life. Born and raised here, she returned in 2019--by way of New York City, Louisiana, and Chicago-- to raise a family of her own. She is the mother of a rising kindergartener and third-grader in the Glencoe schools. She has loved getting to know local families as a part-time preschool teacher at the Glencoe Park District. Passionate about civic participation, she has been an election judge since 2024. She plays Irish fiddle, loves making pottery, and participates in weekly Italian conversation classes. She is grateful for this opportunity to serve her community.

Stephanie Hirsh: My three children, currently in 8th, 6th, and 4th grade, have thrived at Glencoe’s South, West, and Central schools. I hold an elementary education degree from the University of Michigan and served as a math specialist at Hawken School in Lyndhurst, OH, supporting math enrichment and curriculum development for advanced students. After earning a master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern, I have operated my own private practice since 2009, supporting clients from preschool through adulthood.
